"A great basic hut. Restaurant right on the beach. Restaurant food passable, cold beer. Pretty quiet unless neighbourhoods dogs have an argument in middle of the night"

"The style of the place is amazing, and the rooms are really comfortable. Although the breakfast was not included, it is a pretty good place to have it - and the coffee is good. The hotel is located in a key spot to visit Saint- Louis. We enjoyed visiting the series of museums connected to the circuit Musée de la Photographie de St Louis, which show not only pictures but history of the city and Senegal."

"Very helpful staff, friendly and welcoming.. My French was not good at all, however I managed to explain myself and gotten the help I needed. I will say struggled to get the tv stayed connected.. Would've like to see tolit cleaner's, so to keep the tolit fresh.. With said I would go back!"

"Staff were really helpful and kind, helping us find the Gare Routiere and sending the location of the hotel itself. Ziguinchor is a small town anyway but everything was in walking distance. Very quiet and comfortable. Excellent value for money"

"- Welcoming and friendly staff members at the apartment complex. Clean apart from two coackroaches, an anti cockroach spray was there to support getting rid of them. - Max. 5 min walking distance to the beach 😍 Small shops close by, to reach big supermarkets you'd need to take a car. - I needed to work on my computer and therefore used the AC during day and night time. Electricity bill wasn't as bad as I thought after reading some reviews here. Less than 10€ (maybe even less than 5€, can't remember exactly) for 3 days. - WiFi was relatively stable, too. - restaurant which was recommended around the corner served yummy lunches for a good price. - Kitchen very well equipped."

"It was a great stay! An affordable place, with all I need as a solo backpacker. Best of all is the staff: I interacted most with Djibril and Ara (apologies if misspelling) and they were really kind, friendly, caring and helpful with my questions, tips, organising an excursion, etc. There are two bedrooms with a shared patio and bathroom. It's convenient there is a restaurant to have some food and drinks right there, including breakfast."

"Loved this hotel that was like a thatched house. Having breakfast served to us by the swimming pool was a beautiful way to start the day. All the staff were great but Paco in particular made our stay. He works so hard and was always there to greet us with a smile, help us with something, make us a coffee, or even to play us a little something on his guitar. On our last evening he joined us on the beach with some musicians from Guinea (Isa and Aisha and another guy who all play at the nearby restaurant Chez Poulo on Thursdays and Fridays). It was a beautiful last evening of music, singing and dance for us in Senegal. Oh, and Paco can connect you to ISA if you're interested in having a drumming lesson on the beach - we did and it was a highlight of our holiday. Isa is an incredible musician and brilliant teacher."
