Go trekking in the valley, horseback riding in the neighbouring village, or take a short excursion to the famous “Fairy Chimneys”. Taskonaklar is located 6 kilometres from Göreme and has wonderful views of the Pigeon Valley, where thousands of hand-carved pigeon nests lie on the hills. You can visit this and the other valleys on guided tours or admire them from a hot air balloon.

"First of all, huge thanks to the staff. Every single one of them is so welcoming, attentive and they all have a huge smile on their face. They are always ready to help with tips and tricks about attractions. The view from the hotel is stunning. You can watch all the balloons from the garden, no need to go anywhere else. Hotel is located very centrally, important areas are just a short drive away. Moniq Restaurant is definitely one of the top ones in Cappadocia! Definitely recommended."

"In the photos of the hotel it looks like it’s a good view of the hot air balloons over Göreme but our room didn’t see this as they were further to the left most days so covered by the other hotels / position on the cliff was slightly right. We stayed in goreme first so we didn’t mind too much as we had seen the balloons lots."
