"Good food but no better than that. Limited AI drink package which for the price paid was not good. Good on site facilities but not great. Hassled by lots of vendors on a short beach walk, which caused us to stay off the beach."
"I liked how the hotel was not modern it was very authentic. I also liked how those roofs kept you cool from the boiling hot sun. The food was delicious and the swimming pool was so warm and I loved how on special occasions you ate dinner outside and sometimes people would preform to you. The room was also very big. The staff were very friendly. In general I had a magnificent stay."

"Staff attitude and friendliness was excellent. Sea Front room location opening on beach great. Restaurant has two themed evenings, African on the beach, and BBQ beside the upper pool. These are excellent since they break up the repetition of eating 3 meals a day in the main buffet restaurant."
"Hotel has a really good beachside restaurant as an alternative to the main buffet restaurant. However, the beach restaurant only offers burger and pizza type meals in the evening. It would be much better if they offered a limited 3 course menu since the beach setting is great and eating there more civilised compared with the buffet."

"We spent 12 nights during our Zanzibar trip. Beach villas for the first 4 nights then when we returned after other resorts and spent 8 nights in the family suite. Friendly/helpfull staff & management, beautiful clean hotel, wonderfull pools (esp lower shaded pool from afternoon sun. Big well equipped gym & great value for money spa. Food to cater for all diets. Rooms well cleaned daily & fresh towels & linen on request. Loved it & will deff be back."
