"We did expect it to be a little more ‘off the grid’ than it actually was, you can still hear the main road and see citrusdal and the farms from the house and it’s only 5 minutes away from Citrusdal. I do realise that for some this might actually be a plus! When we took a walk around the area we also realised that some of the other cottages in the reserve are situated a lot further up in the mountains and I think these might have a more ‘off the grid’ feel to them so we might consider booking one of those next time!"

"The house was fantastic, everything we needed! And the views are absolutely amazing, especially the stars at night. Loved it! If you get a chance, take the hiking trail. Very nice views"

"We loved the privacy, the openness of the unit and location. We loved the decor and simple luxury of the unit. The hot tub under the stars is pure bliss. We love Wolfkop, we visited in December 2025, January 2026 and will be visiting again in February 2026."

"The pool could do with movable shade as it can get very hot. Earlier check ins and later check outs are always appreciated. Some guest at another unit had a drone and this was annoying."

"The fact that it is still self check in. Covid did change the industry. Unfortunately you don't see any staff. No communication with hosts. Witch is sad in my eyes being in the industry myself. But overall very pleasant. Will definitely return."

"The house is extremely spacious and is ideal for 3 couples, or a family. There are two fridges / freezers making it perfect for doing shopping before you arrive. The pool was most welcome in the heat, as were the air conditioning units. Jethro was always available to assist which gave us peace of mind due to the fires."

"The oven is not usable due to the markings not being on the oven, but there is a small oven which was perfect for us. Other than that, anything that was not perfect was sorted out straight away which meant we had no complaints."

"Location is remote but that is what we wanted. It was very peaceful and the views are outstanding both from the house, which is just lovely and very well equipped, as well as from the little swimming pool."
