"Otelin genel atmosferi oldukça huzurlu, sakin ve dinlendiriciydi. Odalar geniş, ferah ve estetik açıdan oldukça güzeldi. Ortak kullanım alanları (banyo ve mutfak) temiz ve düzenliydi. En önemlisi, otel yetkilisi son derece misafirperver, samimi ve yardımseverdi; her konuda destek olmaya çalışması konaklamayı daha keyifli hale getirdi."

Konaklama sırasında yatak konforunun kişisel beklentime göre biraz daha iyi olabileceğini düşündüm. Bu durumu ilettiğimde, yeni yatak alındığı ancak henüz ulaşmadığı ve geldiğinde değişimin yapılacağı belirtildi. Bu yaklaşım, soruna çözüm odaklı yaklaşıldığını gösterdiği için olumluydu. Genel olarak bu durum, konaklamayı ciddi anlamda olumsuz etkilemekten ziyade, zamanla giderilebilecek küçük bir detay olarak değerlendirilebilir.

Despite it being 5 rooms, sharing one bathroom, it never felt crowded. Good value for an otherwise expensive travel destination. The bus stop is right by the house and there was always available public parking."

"Amazing place! Spotless room with a balcony and a truly breathtaking view. Delicious breakfasts every day. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful, always happy to assist and organize activities. Kayaks available for guests. The bay is just a short walk away, making the location perfect. Absolutely loved our stay — highly recommended!"

There was a group that arrived without booking and there was not enough food, so the host had to go shopping and the dinner was late. There was enough food for everyone but not much variety for warm dishes, comparing with other guesthouses on the trail. The guesthouse is located off the main trail and the trail is a bit tricky.

"My second time staying at the wonderful St. James Guesthouse. Returned back after 3 years, and it was even more wonderful than what I remembered. The owner along with all of the employees are absolutely lovely. You truly feel at home with a lovely family like atmosphere. The rooms are authentic and have exactly what you need. Enjoyed having Netflix on the TV along with Aircondition in the room. Breakfast was delicious with great additional options you pay a cheap price for. Location is the best in Roseau, next to a car rental, walkable distance to everything (Ferry terminal, Markets, Restaurants/bars, Local busses to Portsmouth or Trafalgar). Cannot recommend this place and the employees enough. One of the many gems in Dominica! Thanks to the team once again 🙏"

"It's a beautiful property- the room and facilities were great. The dinner was delicious and extremely generous- Rum and wine included as well. Breakfast had some nice continental options and I especially enjoyed the herb tea. The host was wonderful- I don't speak French but was very easy using google translate. She gave great instructions for arrival. She also looked after me as and made sure I got to the start of my hike safely- she asked another couple to drop me at the trail on their way to Marla after she realised I was going to walk up the windy mountain road! If you are getting a bus there is also a stop right outside- although take care to plan as the buses don't run frequently."

Upgrade is always allowed but everything is okay 👍 during my stay

"To start with, the location is not only excellent (right in the middle of historical Viterbo, walking distance to most things), but you also have parking inside (and space for normal-sized cars too), which can be a life saver when travelling by car. Nice (and very clean) room, and for a very reasonable price (have been to city accommodations half as good for twice the price). Also provided disposable indoor slippers, which is instantly a +1. Lastly, can mention that the owner also has a nearby restaurant (c. 2min walk), called La Chimera, which I can strongly recommend. I do not normally give 10/10 unless very deserving, i.e. going above and beyond, but this place deserves it."

The host cannot speak much English, but make it up through effort and enthusiasm, so you will still understand in the end (with or without Google translate). Breakfast was ok, but almost only sweets, so some less sugary stuff as well could be good. Some of the toiletries just lasted, so not a big issue, but if providing more then would not have to ration. Can also be a bit difficult to find (more so since some streets are currently closed-off due to construction).

"Gorgeous view from the apartment! There's a big window showing the beautiful mountains below. Beautiful interior design throughout!! The host was also very friendly 🌷 Buiilt as a compact studio apartment with a large bed, all beautifully designed. Next door there's a room that serves as a small kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave and capsule coffee machine. Lots of attractions nearby - Nimrod Fortress, Hermon Mountain site and cable car, Tel Dan, Ghajar village and Banias National Park."

Fortunately we travelled with a 4x4 wheel drive car -- a must-have to negotiate the steep roads in the village.

"We had a fantastic stay at this apartment. It was super comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming — they truly made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!"

While advertised as a B&B it is not like the many B&Bs we have visited over the years where you have access to a lounge and receive a full breakfast. The accommodations are really a bedroom and bathroom with a small eating area on the bottom floor of a row house unit. There was a patio outdoors which was nice but overall the space was small and the breakfast was a continental breakfast you made yourself.

There’s no full kitchen available — just a small area with a microwave and an icebox. But considering the cost, it’s still a good deal.
