"This site had great potential being located in the heart of the Tozeur Oasis and very peaceful. The site is very well planted with many palm trees and other trees and bushes. We booked to stay in a caravan for one night. The caravan is best described as retro which in itself was not a problem. There were ample communal toilets and showers and also communal cooking facilities although these did not seem to be available. There is also, apparently, a swimming pool although this also seemed to be closed"

"The only person on site to meet us was a man who did his best to be helpful but had to keep calling the owners on his phone, he did not even seem to be expecting us when we arrived. At one point when we were speaking to the owners on his phone, the owner admitted it was difficult as they were not on site. This was not acceptable, if they acknowledge themselves it is difficult then why are they not on site? There was also mention on Booking.com of breakfast and evening meals being available. Once again, we were told this was not so as they 'were not on site'. The caravan itself did have basic cooking facilities but their cleanliness left a lot to be desired as there was a clear layer of dust over everything. Fortunately the bedding was clean, as was the well worn towels provided. As previously mentioned, the pool was not available either."
