"We chose buellsPort as the first stop on our Namibia round trip and really enjoyed it. We didn’t expect too much but really loved the food. Both nights we got served a multi-course home cooked meal utilising game meat and local vegetables. The private hiking paths are really well maintained and set in a beautiful landscape. We also enjoyed the drive towards sossusvlei from buellsport which is in much better condition than the standard tourist route."

Very bad internet but it was not essential for us. A bit hard to find - we got the turn from the main road on the third try and we used navigation. The turn is just in a very inconvenient location, you have to be very careful with the traffic when you go there.

"Simba camp is an amazing place to stay, especially if you want to experience the local culture and see wildlife. The chef cooked delicious food and even went out of his way to cater to my son's fussy eating. The highlights were definitely the morning and evening walks with Kwenia to see the wildlife and learn about the bush, the school and village visits, and beading with the local women. A very memorable experience."

The mosquitoes around the pool

"Absolutely loved this place! The tiny houses are super cozy, clean, and well thought out — everything you need for a comfortable stay. The view is stunning, and the atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature. I left feeling completely recharged. Can’t wait to come back! "I liked how quiet it was, although the highway was closed at Roger's pass at the time. I liked the cabin very much and the beds were very comfortable! It's a very back to nature experience there! Anybody arriving wishing to check in, should call the number in front of the ark if there isn't anyone around, I spoke to a very nice lady on the phone who told me which cabin we were in and she kindly advised us what to do 🙂 we would love to stay there again one day."
