"Well, totally different experience from Riga! This place is AWESOME as the staff. The lady who hosted us did a great and PERFECT job. We place is very well located, alogside the road, close to supermarkets and the castle ruins. The city centre can be acessed by a footpath uphill from the hotel on a pleasant walk. Bedrooms alright, very clean and organized with no problems at all. We liked so much, that we spent more time that we intended on the next city in a Wine Festival in Sabile that we decided to go back and stay one more night and with only 10 Euros more, they gave us an apartment with living room and kitchen. I wuosl easily go back and refer here. One of the best places on the trip! The city is not big and have not that much to visit but satying here, made everything much better and pleasant! And parking is right besides the hotel as well with plenty space and easy to use and access!"

"Large, clean and modern room with a hairdryer and enough plugs. Parking available. Nice breakfast with home-made yogurt and jams. Internet was satisfactory. The dinner at a (somewhat high) price of 30 Euro per person was good. Good service overall. The owner, Mr. Desprairies, is very professional."

Though we did like the breakfast, we saw that eggs are offered for an extra charge. In most hotels this is standard, so I would recommend to just include them in breakfast. Also, the coffee was so so.

"Merhaba Tesisde çadırda kaldım ama gerçekten çadır harikaydı, çadır yeniydi koku felan yoktu, çadırda vantilatör, elektirik ve havlu vardı çadırın önünde oturmak icin harika rahat minderli oturaklar vardı, duş tuvalet çadırın yanındaydı ve temizdiler… kendim cadırcıyım bir çok yere çadır kurdum, bir çok yerde tesislerin çadırlarında kaldım, genelde Avrupa çadır kampları yapıyordum… hatta bu tesisin yanında bir kamp alanında iki gün çadırda kaldım ama burası gerçekten harikaydı o tarafa bir daha gidersem kesin orda kalırım, denize sıfır mükemmel yer tavsiye ederim. Personal ve işletmecide harikaydılar teşekkür ediyorum hepisine… 🌹❤️🌹"

"Our self catering apartment was in a good location. Places to eat are near by. Facilities were basic but adequate for our stay. Towels were lovely and soft, the room was clean, the shower was good and the a/c was efficient. The staff at reception were very friendly."

Pillows a bit lumpy but we still got a good night's sleep.

The friendly and hard working staff were extremely helpful, and the owner Primus met us at the airport and drove us to the hotel, for a pre-arranged fee. This made our arrival so much easier and stress free. He also arranged car rental for us which was excellent value. There's a nice lounging area overlooking the bay, good for watching sunsets, and a refreshing pool. Home cooked food available lunch and dinner, as well as breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed a most memorable and relaxing stay."
